　　為給身患重病的父親交付醫藥費，電工文斯（薩姆·賴利 Sam Riley飾）不得已賣掉了房子。一次偶然的機會，文斯在他修理的房間里得到房主的一封神秘信件和一張不知道終點的火車票。一面是房主的離奇意外死亡和完全未知的危險旅程，一面是一筆足夠改寫人生的巨額財富，文斯最終還是決 定踏上這次神秘旅程。然而當他抵達隱蔽的目的地之后，等待他的卻是一場無法全身而退的瘋狂殺人游戲。　　本片翻拍自2005年法國犯罪驚悚影片《百萬殺人游戲》（13 Tzameti），依舊由原作導演兼編劇的格拉·巴布魯阿尼執導與編劇。薩姆·賴利、米基·洛克、杰森·斯坦森、雷·溫斯頓等多位硬漢同臺演繹這場生死博弈。

好像一切都很糟糕

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
