　　An 80-year-old man with a penchant for real life games in a story about rights and wrongs. It's a story about the decisions one makes in their lifetime and the fact that every decision has its repercussions, hearing and judgment.

　　In a small rural community local police officers Zoe and Patrick begin their shift as normal but it soon becomes clear that something is wrong. Strange events unfold before their eyes, residents begin behaving strangely and mass suicide panic spreads amongst the community they are trying to protect. Zoe and Patrick realise they are under siege from alien machines as they become cut off from the outside world. They are forced to do battle against these uninvited visitors. With the help of some of the residents Zoe and Patrick begin unravelling the mystery and soon discover it is not all as it seems. 　　國際大都會日本東京，光天化日之下發生了性質極其惡劣的搶劫案。某個十字路口發生詭異的交通事故，科學搜查班（ST）的各位順藤摸瓜查清了事故的始作俑者——天才黑客鏑木徹（中山裕介 飾）。但是ST的領導者赤城左門（藤原龍也 飾）面對眾人對鏑木的指控閃爍其詞，他支開百合根友久（岡田將生 飾），獨自前往鏑木的住所。未久，鏑木葬身火海，而赤城作為重要嫌疑人被同僚拘捕。青山翔（志田未來 飾）、結城翠（蘆名星 飾）、黑崎勇治（漥田正孝 飾）、山吹才藏（三宅弘城 飾）等手下自然不會相信赤城的認罪供詞，他們想方設法要查清真相，而百合根更為此故意犯罪進入拘留所，試圖近距離聽取赤城的心聲。而就在關鍵時刻，赤城越獄逃亡……　　本片根據今野敏的原作改編。
