美發師紀阿開（張學友）、服裝設計師大眼龍（莫少聰）和風水師賴布丁（周星馳）三個死黨合伙開了一家新潮美發店，不料開業當天就與隔壁理發店老板發生爭執，幸得店老板女兒亞英（張敏）及時出手風波平息，過程中，三人皆被亞英魅力吸引，為贏其芳心，開始頻頻登其家門獻殷勤。　　某次晚餐聚會后，三人爛醉與亞英誤睡一室，導致亞英懷孕，為與亞英一起生活，三人爭先恐后將準父親一職往自己身上攬，又因三人血型相同，醫院也無法驗出誰在冒名，亞英父母決定先考察三人表現，為爭當最佳女婿，三人使盡渾身解數展開激烈角逐。
