The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

吳念真,李凱莉,金燕玲,張洋洋,蕭淑慎,尾形一成,陳希圣,林孟瑾,陳以文,柯宇綸,張育邦,柯素云,唐如韞,徐淑媛,曾心怡,陶傳正NJ（吳念真）是個很有原則的生意人，同妻子敏敏（金燕玲）、女兒婷婷（李凱莉）、兒子洋洋（張楊洋）以及外婆住在臺北某所普通公寓里。小舅子的一場麻煩婚禮過后，因為外婆突然中風昏迷，他迎來更加混亂的日子。敏敏公司、家里兩頭跑，時常感覺自己要被耗空；婷婷一直為外婆的中風內疚，戀愛談到中途發現自己不過是替代品；NJ更是麻煩重重，公司面臨破產，他又不愿放下別人眼里一文不值的自尊。一家人里，似乎只有洋洋沒有煩惱，他平靜地用照相機拍著各種人的背面，幫他們長出另一雙眼睛，然而，洋洋簡簡單單的一句話，道出更深的悲涼。
川流不“熄”
楊新鳴,胡昌霖,涂松巖,代樂樂,楊童舒,鞏崢,何賽飛,林永健,畢克辰故事發生在2008年北京奧運會前夕，參加過朝鮮戰爭的退伍老兵張大川（楊新鳴 飾），與兒子一家生活在中國南方的一個小鎮上，雖然同住一個屋檐下但關系并不親密。一天，大川接到老戰友去世的電話，于是他決定獨自前往北京，參加戰友的葬禮。這個計劃，被正值青春叛逆期的孫子小松（胡昌霖 飾）發現，小松懇求和威脅爺爺帶他一起去。爭執之后，從未單獨出過遠門的祖孫倆上路了.......
三人世界
林子祥,鄭裕玲,關之琳,周慧敏,劉嘉玲,羅美薇,盧冠廷,金燕玲,周文健劉雅歷（林子祥 飾）是一名廣告公司高層，但感情生活并不如意——女友碧姬（關之琳 飾）與他分手了。本來就沉默寡言的雅歷更加孤寂傷痛了，生活依舊刻板平凡?！ 『髞硭谝粋€合唱團里認識了一位極有天分的女孩巫慧敏（周慧敏 飾），本來打算對她多加照顧培訓，卻遭到慧敏母親朱麗娥（鄭裕玲 飾）的不滿，以為雅歷對自己年輕的女兒動了歪念，兩人也因此成為了斗氣冤家。 經多次的交往之后，朱麗娥才發現自己誤會了雅歷，便對他完全改觀了，有困難的時候麗娥也主動找雅歷幫忙。麗娥本來就是個離婚婦人，遇到了同樣感情空虛的雅歷，兩人之間很快便滋長了愛情。這時，雅歷的前女友碧姬卻回來要求復合……
