列寧格勒牛仔征美記

　　列寧格勒牛仔搖滾樂隊的幾個成員裝扮怪異，戴大墨鏡，燙飛機頭，夸張的火箭鞋就是他們的標志。可在他們的家鄉看不見事業成功的希望，于是他們決定轉戰美國尋求機會，在即將出發的前夜，貝斯手卻被凍死，盡管如此，隊員們還是將他裝入了放滿冰塊的木箱中帶上了旅途。此時同村的一個怪異的啞巴 偷偷跟隨樂隊來到了紐約。紐約的機會并不如他們想象的豐富，困窘的生活仍在繼續，在他們走投無路之時，得到了一個來自墨西哥的婚宴演出機會。于是他們用僅剩的錢從一個美國售貨員（吉姆?賈木許 Jim Jarmusch 飾）手中買了一輛舊車后繼續向墨西哥進發，那里有他們最后的夢想……
