　　最近，城市里發生了可怕的殺人事件，一具被切割成6塊的女尸的曝光和兇手的逍遙法外引起了社會的恐慌。作為休假的交換條件，搜查科研究員姜民浩（薛景求 飾）接下了這個棘手的案件。行事雷厲風行的他和推理天才閔瑞英（韓惠珍 飾）聯手，調查取得了突飛猛進的進展，嫌疑人李圣浩（ 柳承范 飾）的名字漸漸浮出水面。　　李圣浩一經逮捕就對自己所犯的罪行供認不諱，可是姜民浩卻發現事實并不是他所說的那么簡單。就在這個節骨眼上，姜民浩的女兒突然失蹤，他明白這絕對和李圣浩脫不了干系。李圣浩告訴姜民浩，若想要得知女兒的下落，就必須和他玩一個解謎的游戲——解開他留在尸體上的謎題。一場以生命為籌碼的賭注開始了。

好像一切都很糟糕

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
