吳鎮(zhèn)宇,倪大紅,呂麗萍,孫海英,陳志朋,吳俊余,葛思然,巴哈古麗《堵車》是一部集愛情、動作、奇幻、懸疑和黑色幽默于一體的都市電影,由一起堵車事件道出了販毒者羅生門(吳鎮(zhèn)宇 飾)、發(fā)條(陳志朋 飾)、一休(吳俊余 飾)、橙子(巴哈古麗 飾)等一群“堵心”人之間的命運(yùn)交織,講述了一個懸念迭起、凄美蒼涼的故事。《堵車》——由堵心而生?! ∪昵?,“富二代”發(fā)條、先天心臟病患者一休和制毒販毒者羅生門三個人同時都愛上了少女橙子。 三年后,又為了同一個目標(biāo),所有人的命運(yùn)再次交織在一起?! 啊伞毙湍μ齑髽蔷褪橇_生門的終點(diǎn),是天堂的大門,也是宿命的象征。在荊軻的槍口下,羅生門用綠藻酒結(jié)束了自己的生命。手機(jī)視頻中,發(fā)條生命垂危,說:如果我死了,請把我的心臟移植給一休。完成了橙子的愿望,也表達(dá)他對橙子的愛。

Hunter創(chuàng)作的同名戲劇,講述在愛達(dá)荷州鄉(xiāng)村一個破舊的公寓里,重達(dá)272公斤的英語教師查理(布蘭登·費(fèi)舍 飾)隱居避世,固執(zhí)、堅(jiān)決地要把自己吃死。查理在中年時期為了同性情人拋棄家人,但情人過世后因?yàn)楸瘋蛢?nèi)疚暴飲暴食,并且嘗試與17歲的女兒艾莉(薩迪·辛克 飾)修復(fù)關(guān)系。隨著查理越來越接近不可避免的命運(yùn),他的朋友麗茲(周洪 飾),一個憤世嫉俗的無神論者護(hù)士,以及埃爾德·托馬斯(泰·辛普金斯 飾),一個年輕的傳教士都試圖在查理身上找到能被拯救的意志,無論是肉體上還是精神上。然而,只有與查理關(guān)系疏遠(yuǎn)的女兒艾莉才能讓他看到目前絕望狀態(tài)之外的未來,艾莉雖然尖酸刻薄、充滿仇恨、渾身是刺,查理卻能在她身上找到最后一次贖罪的機(jī)會,甚至可能是一絲希望。

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
