The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

端島計劃
蘇查·瑪娜英,阿萍雅·薩庫爾加倫蘇,吳翊歌,亞歷山大·倫德爾南、歐、尼克、竇和梅是五個剛畢業沒多久的新新人類，出于對影視行業和靈異題材的熱愛，他們拍攝了一支鬧鬼廢墟的小短片。雖然沒有獲得相關公司的認可，但一經上傳后很快得到網友的廣泛關注和支持。在此之后，專門拍攝靈異題材的制作公司鬼域（Ghost Land）聯系到他們，邀請三個人前往端島拍攝。端島是位于日本長崎一座形狀酷似軍艦的島嶼，19世紀末曾憑借豐富的礦藏贏得某大型企業的關注，但是隨著能源方式的改編如今已變成遍布廢墟的荒島。 無所顧忌的年輕人們登上端島，期間還遭遇傳說中的美女美子的鬼魂，他們就此厄運纏身……
花心夢里人
陳勛奇,曾志偉,張敏肥招（曾志偉 飾）和凡秋（陳勛奇 飾）是一對從小一起長大的好朋友，但兩人的性格卻大不相同，肥招老實木訥，凡秋則浮華招搖。因投資不善，凡秋被高利貸逼得走投無路，幸虧有好友相助，才得以在肥招家中暫時棲身。此前肥招家里住著一個離家出走的叛逆少女阿君（陳淑蘭 飾），凡秋隨她出席某酒會，認識了美貌和財富并重的美女保蓮（楊寶玲 飾）。以此為契機，他的事業初見起色，隨后更和文靜賢淑的女友莎莉（張敏 飾）分手，與保蓮墜入愛河。 另一方面，害羞靦腆的肥招也開始喜歡上莎莉，在阿君的參謀下，他向這個失意的女子展開了感情攻勢……
眠狂四郎
長谷川博己,黑島結菜,高橋光臣,菜菜緒,森永悠希,坂東彌十郎,宅麻伸,今野浩喜,佐藤江梨子,西村雅彥,神保悟志 ,原沙知繪,本田博太郎在將軍德川家齊統治下的文政年間，老中水野忠成與水野忠邦在幕府內展開激烈的權力斗爭。此時，攜帶名刀“無想正宗”的神秘浪人眠狂四郎（長谷川博己 飾）現身江戶，并受忠邦的親信之命，暗中刺殺刺客。被他斬殺的刺客頸上佩戴著象征基督信仰的念珠。隨后，狂四郎將此物交還給刺客的妹妹靜香，引發信徒與豪商備前屋的反擊，雙方為守護與暗殺而對立。另一方面，大目付松平主水正也奉忠成之命，派遣劍豪追殺狂四郎。權謀與信仰交織，一場錯綜復雜的生死之戰即將展開。
