 故事發(fā)生在1977年2月8日，圍繞一名44歲的前房地產(chǎn)開發(fā)商Tony Kiritsis展開。他用槍劫持了貸款公司總裁Richard O. Hall，并在其身上綁了一個(gè)“死亡開關(guān)”，以此脅迫這位總裁在幾近零度的天氣里當(dāng)著警察和記者的面穿過市中心的街道。
