該片是一部融合科幻驚悚與人性拷問的電影。影片以虛構的西岸港為背景，講述了新聞記者濮欣(徐冬冬飾演)在調查跨國企業(yè)賽爾斯集團的污染事件時，意外卷入一場由其父親濮教授(張德暉飾演)所在的孤島實驗室引發(fā)的基因災難。當實驗創(chuàng)造出嗜血變異昆蟲并失控后，集團為掩蓋真相切斷聯(lián)系、銷毀證據(jù)，使被困者陷入絕境。為尋找失聯(lián)的父親，濮欣與男友江海(婁淇試驗)潛入死島，在怪物橫行、通訊斷絕的險境中，逐步揭開實驗背后的殘酷陰謀。

　　該片講述因神經(jīng)衰退正在接受治療的智敏在親眼目睹肇事逃逸事故后，總是分不清現(xiàn)實和幻想，并因此經(jīng)歷了神秘事件的故事。南奎麗飾演女主角智敏，這也是她時隔三年重返銀幕，并首次挑戰(zhàn)驚悚片，電影計劃于今年9月開拍，預計將于2018年上半年上映。
