失真的畫

　　五年前，一系列模仿名畫場景的連環殺人案轟動紐約城，警探斯坦（Willem Dafoe 飾）受命調查此案，然而卻遲遲沒有進展，令其飽受輿論壓力。斯坦以少女克莉斯特（Samantha MacIvor 飾）作誘餌吸引兇手，雖然成功擊斃嫌疑犯艾迪，卻也導致克莉斯特慘遭殺害。　　艾迪一案使斯坦得到警署嘉獎，順利升職，不過他的心中始終對遇害少女懷有愧疚，并且此案背后似乎另有隱情。心中承受巨大內疚之情的斯坦沉溺酒精，愈加孤僻。五年后，類似案件再次出現，兇手似乎有意以斯坦為目標發出赤裸裸的挑戰。斯坦不僅要面對這個狡猾且智商極高的對手，更要面對長久以來困擾自己的心魔……
