牢獄鴛
華萊士·比里,切斯特·莫里斯,羅伯特·蒙哥馬利肯特·馬洛（蒙哥馬利·克里夫特 飾）因酒駕而入獄，并在牢中認識了搶劫犯約翰·摩根（切斯特·莫里斯 飾）和殺人犯機關槍布奇（華萊士·比里 飾）。性格軟弱的馬洛入獄第一晚便遭到了布奇的欺凌，隨后他與其他獄友也無法和諧相處，心懷不滿的他在警察密探的慫恿下想要通過抓住布奇和摩根的把柄的方式來提前出獄。性格暴躁的布奇無法忍受牢中惡劣的飲食條件，在餐廳慫恿所有犯人一起抗議，最終遭到壓制，布奇也因此被送往地牢，但他心中已打定主意要設法越獄。摩根性格狡猾，在獄中一直左右逢源，并因在獄中表現良好得到了提前出獄的假釋機會，就在他喜不勝收準備出獄之時，某個突然而來的事件永遠改變了他的命運。

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
