　　故事梗概:　　由領隊布魯貝克等三名宇航員駕駛的美國宇宙飛船《摩羯星一號》因質量不好未能起飛,宇航主任凱洛威博士為騙取國會的預算,強迫宇航員參加了一場在攝影棚內模擬飛行同時進行電視實況轉播的騙局.為了騙局不被戳穿,還決定宣布飛船降落時因事故機毀人亡,秘密殺害宇航員.宇航員沖出攝影棚后,兩人被打死.死里逃生的布魯貝克出現在追悼會上,揭露了事實真相.
