楊千嬅,陳奕迅,鄭裕玲,曾志偉,黎耀祥,何超儀典型都市女性Diana（鄭裕玲 飾）有著驕人的事業成績，也積極經營著自己的愛情。可是香港經濟不景氣，她與同公司的小職員韋大漢（曾志偉 飾）都在了裁員的名單上。韋大漢早年妻子因為好賭離家出走，丟下了女兒千華（楊千嬅 飾）及小兒子萬華需要供養。他向兒女隱瞞自己已經被解雇的事實，可是Diana的出現讓千華及弟弟都知道了爸爸的真實情況。原來Diana的出現是想跟他們參加一個家庭制的游戲，只有勝出游戲，電視臺便會原價收購他們的負資產業。Diana是一個自私冷酷的人，在游戲的過程中，被大漢付出在兒女身上的感情而改變了她。千華也在游戲中與導演（陳奕迅 飾）產生了感情。游戲最終由他們勝出，可是千華親生母親的出現使局面徹底改變了……
等待方舟

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

Jones,Jerry McGee,比爾·格雷厄姆,麗塔·考里基,托尼·奧蘭多,伊索·阿克瑞恩,羅伯特·英格蘭德,梅迪·諾曼,Susan Richardson本片是同一故事第三度重拍的版本。此片將好萊塢的背景改成今日的搖滾樂壇，男主角原是著名的搖滾樂歌手，而女主角則在小型夜總會賣藝。影片中有不少熱門插曲，部分片段的鏡頭和表演都不俗，但整體則顯得有點矯揉造作，角色欠缺真正的生命感，不過娛樂性還是維持相當水準。本片曾獲奧斯卡最佳電影插曲金像獎。
冒牌大賊
黃日華,林憶蓮,左頌升死黨阿華，師爺仔及飛牛三人分別任職于會計，律師樓及警員。他們均喜歡包租婆的女兒蒙珠。一日，阿華知道會有巨額運抵公司及發現有賊人已鋪好路線偷款。于是將計就計，他們預先偷走巨款，然后嫁禍給劫匪。雖然錢得手，但全是廢紙，而煩惱才剛剛開始……

貝蒂·戴維斯,保羅·亨雷德,克勞德·雷恩斯,格拉黛絲·庫珀夏洛特（貝蒂·戴維斯 Bette Davis 飾）已經能算得上是一個老姑娘了，她梳著呆板的發型，穿著保守的服裝，性格也古里古怪的，更糟糕的是，她似乎還染上了酗酒的壞毛病。在家人的建議之下，夏洛特決定踏上治療心靈的旅途，登上了駛往遠方的游輪。在游輪上，夏洛特邂逅了名為杰瑞（保羅·亨雷德 Paul Henreid 飾）的男子，并且在誤打誤撞之中和杰瑞的女兒結下了深厚的友誼。很快，夏洛特就感到自己墜入了情網之中，然而，此時的杰瑞并不是自由身，他有這一段無法結束的婚姻。心碎的夏洛特選擇了離開，而夏洛特的母親也在不久之后撒手人寰。
