A team of influencer bloggers decides to hold a ritual at the mansion of the "black countess". A fan of the supernatural, she disappeared without a trace after she was offered to play a game that was supposed to take her to another dimension. By evoking the spirit of the Countess, bloggers let otherworldly forces into the world. The one who can bring the demons back will survive.

　　Five haunted-house enthusiast friends are still trying to recover from the trauma of being kidnapped the previous Halloween by the Blue Skeleton — a group who takes “extreme haunt” to another level.  根據(jù)水門事件揭發(fā)人Carl Bernstein和Bob Woodward所寫自傳改編的電影。二人是《華盛頓郵報》的記者，在水門事件里，他們歷盡艱辛揭開政治黑幕，人物和事件一同成為美國一段家喻戶曉的歷史。故事由五名盜賊開始，他們潛入水門大度行竊。本來是一樁不甚重大的刑事案件，卻在Bernstein（達斯汀·霍夫曼Dustin Hoffman 飾）和Woodward（羅伯特·雷德福Robert Redford  飾）的追查下，最終撕開了一條大裂縫，矛頭直指總統(tǒng)尼克松。從1972年到1974年，從尼克松競選總統(tǒng)到尼克松連任上臺，華盛頓郵報受到的壓力越來越大，甚至被威脅。主編本·布萊德利站在了新聞自由和相信自己記者的這邊，Bernstein和Woodward得以繼續(xù)追尋事件真相，得到了重要線人“深喉”的幫助，經(jīng)歷了難以想象的曲折艱辛后，水門事件最終導致尼克松總統(tǒng)下臺。
