胡家莊年味漸淡，寒暑異常，舞獅少年羅川跳脫飛揚(yáng)，異想天開，夢(mèng)想把舞獅技藝發(fā)揚(yáng)光大，卻常常弄巧成拙，所到之處雞飛狗跳，被村民視為“掃把星”，是村長(zhǎng)胡長(zhǎng)禮眼中的“危險(xiǎn)分子”。年獸小五意外降臨人間，大鬧村莊，勾走了傳家寶——獅頭。羅川為找回獅頭，和下凡捉年獸的鼠仙阿細(xì)相識(shí)，兩人逐漸發(fā)現(xiàn)年獸并不可怕，可以和人類做朋友，但胡長(zhǎng)禮愛村心切，被噬靈妖蠱惑，遁入瘋魔，制造了一場(chǎng)針對(duì)年獸的陰謀，最終羅川和阿細(xì)聯(lián)合村民，打敗了噬靈妖，喚醒了胡長(zhǎng)禮，胡家莊重歸熱鬧，眾人歡歡喜喜迎接春節(jié)到來。

　　黑心鬼（午馬 飾）原是百年前的善長(zhǎng)人翁，好事做盡，卻令田地善惡不平衡，故被罰在陽間害九名貪心之人后方可投胎；陳康泰（陳友 飾）誤放出尿壺中的黑心鬼，被贈(zèng)予三個(gè)愿望，試驗(yàn)其是否貪心之人。康泰之弟星辰（莫少聰 飾）替兄頂罪而被解雇，寄居兄長(zhǎng)家中，被惡嫂梅賽花（梅艷芳 飾）逼做男傭，因而邂逅女鬼梅蘭花（梅艷芳 飾），另一方面，黑心鬼限期將至，決定完成康泰最后愿望后便取其性命，康泰能否度過此劫……
