Story follows an out-of-work steel worker as he struggles to provide for his family and avenge his brother's death by fighting in a mixed martial-arts match against a dangerous opponent.

　　In the futuristic city of Vanille, with properly tuned ImmerSyst Eyes & Ears the world can look and sound like a paradise. But the life of a father and his young son threatens to disintegrate when the father's device begins to fail. Desperate to avoid facing his own traumatic reality, the man must venture outside to find a replacement, into a city where violence and danger lurk beneath a skim of beautiful illusion.

　　小女孩Aurora(Sloan)去尋求鄰居(米科爾森)的幫助：她相信家人被住在自己床底下的一個妖怪吃掉了，而這個鄰居恰巧是訓練有素的殺手，并且確信Aurora的父母是被一群來殺自己的人給誤殺，于是，殺手的第一要務變成了保護小女孩的安全，兩人一起上路，并肩面對自身的惡魔。

　　故事設定在《廢頭》世界的1042年前，以機器人“羅賓”作為主角。羅賓原本作為護衛，隨同調查隊長特里斯前往地下世界調查異常情況。盡管肩負保護特里斯的使命，但調查隊卻遭到了人工生命體馬里甘的邪教組織“吉拉教”的襲擊。在壓倒性的戰力差距下，調查隊陷入苦戰。然而，在這場激烈的交鋒中，他們發現了次元的扭曲，并逐步揭開地下世界隱藏的秘密與異變的真相。
