該劇與《大長今》一樣，都是以16世紀的朝鮮為背景講述了料理手藝與美貌兼?zhèn)涞闹魅斯某砷L史，但在片中卻有著大量的露骨性描寫，出演該片的演員都是制作公司挑選出的韓國無名演員，不過在宣傳該劇時卻掛出了李英愛的相片，使得狠多觀眾都誤以為本片是由李英愛出演的。制作該片的公司社長在接受日本媒體采訪時稱：“希望能夠憑藉此片在日本AV界也發(fā)起一股韓流熱潮，目前正在策劃其他的由韓國演員和日本演員一起拍攝的AV。”而制作《大長今》的韓國MBC電視臺表示會采取法律措施來追究此事。MBC電視臺一名負責人稱：“當我們得知這件事情的時候非常震驚，在成人錄影帶中濫用大長今的名字已經(jīng)是侵犯版權(quán)的行為了，更是對韓國的形象造成了嚴重損害，我們將與大長今日本版權(quán)方協(xié)商之后將追究此事。
