晴仁（李裕英飾）的母親十年前成為了植物人，長時間獨自照顧、看護母親讓她身心俱疲。代號為“看護中”（李裕英飾）的護工機器人不僅幫助晴仁照顧母親，也成為了悉心照料自己的好幫手。然而，看似只聽人類指揮的機器人卻產生了自己的苦惱，它認為：“只有一人死去，另一人才能活”……　　《看護中》曾是科幻系列電視劇《SF8》中的一部，在播映后獲得空前關注，于是決定正式在院線上映。
