猩球崛起2：黎明之戰(zhàn)

　　十年前，人類為自己的愚蠢付出慘痛代價，兇險致命的猿流感病毒蔓延全球，世界毀滅殆盡。而在毗鄰舊金山的原始叢林，凱撒（安迪·瑟金斯 Andy Serkis 飾）帶領猩猩伙伴們建立起無憂無慮的王國，直到某一天，猩猩的家園的寧靜再度被人類打破。在舊城茍延殘喘的人類面臨能源危機，他們試圖利用森林腹地大壩的發(fā)電站提供能源。青年科學家馬爾科姆（杰森·克拉科 Jason Clarke 飾）試圖說服聚集地負責人德里弗斯（加里·奧德曼 Gary Oldman 飾），希望通過和平手段取得猩猩部落的信任和同意。然而凱撒的好盟友科巴（托比·凱貝爾 Toby Kebbell 飾）卻無法摒除對人類的憎恨，他嘗試著挑戰(zhàn)者凱撒的權威。　　人類和猩猩，雙方小心翼翼試探，而戰(zhàn)爭在所難免……

等待方舟

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

巴里·林登

 愛爾蘭，Redmond Barry(瑞安·奧尼爾 Ryan O'Neal 飾）從小和母親寄居在舅舅家，后來愛上了他的表姐Nora。Nora的父親卻想把她許配給一個英格蘭將軍John Quin。于是Barry向Quin提出決斗，決斗中Barry射中了Quin，誤以為將他殺 死了，匆忙逃離家鄉(xiāng)。路上他遭遇搶劫，走投無路只能加入英國軍隊。在軍隊中他才得知，其實Quin并沒有死。Barry從英軍中出逃，卻加入了普魯士軍。戰(zhàn)爭結束后他成了普魯士軍官Potzdorf的心腹，更讓他去監(jiān)視一個在普魯士的愛爾蘭間諜。Barry卻和這個愛爾蘭騎士惺惺相惜，愛爾蘭騎士帶他出入賭場，收獲頗豐。Barry覺得自己應該找個有錢的女人，于是盯上了Lyndon爵士的夫人Lady Lyndon。Lyndon爵士病重身亡，一年后，Barry和Lady Lyndon結婚，也成了一名貴族，改名為Barry Lyndon。但Lyndon爵士和Lady Lyndon的兒子Bullingdon卻十分不喜歡Barry，Barry也預感到自己的未來將會毀于Bullingdon手中.....
