男國少年夢
相貌英俊的X（Derek Magyar 飾）是一個應召男孩，他向中老年同好者提供服務，賺取費用，過著悠閑自在的生活。他喜歡用性來換錢，在這一過程中，只有年屆八十的喬治（Patrick Bauchau 飾）不曾與他發生關系，只當他是傾訴的對象。喬伊（Jonathon Trent 飾）與安德魯（Darryl Stephens 飾）同住一間公寓，三人都有著相同的興取向，在合住的一年里三人互有好感，偶有肉體接觸。黑人小伙安德魯欣賞X，但卻不認同他出賣肉體的方式。始終為X守身如玉的安德魯最終無法忍受，上演了一出示威性的一夜情，這讓對凡事都毫不在乎的X心里不是滋味…… 本片榮獲2006年費城國際同性戀電影節評委會獎最佳影片和最佳劇本獎、2006年羅德島國際電影節金獎。

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
