　　熱愛射飛鏢的柯林看店為業(yè)，為了贏回紅杏出牆的妻子芳心，他跳脫常軌，離開熟悉的故鄉(xiāng)，橫越全國。當(dāng)他經(jīng)過美麗的高山地區(qū)，來到碎石嶙嶙的黑池時，連著遇到一些人和事，改變了他的新生活。是一部好笑又非常人性的影片。

一個明星的誕生1976

 本片是同一故事第三度重拍的版本。此片將好萊塢的背景改成今日的搖滾樂壇，男主角原是著名的搖滾樂歌手，而女主角則在小型夜總會賣藝。影片中有不少熱門插曲，部分片段的鏡頭和表演都不俗，但整體則顯得有點矯揉造作，角色欠缺真正的生命感，不過娛樂性還是維持相當(dāng)水準(zhǔn)。本片曾獲奧斯卡最佳電影插曲金像獎。
