玉米地的孩子：起源

　　年輕情侶波頓（Peter Horton 飾）和維姬（Linda Hamilton 飾）旅行路過內布拉斯加州蓋特林鎮，他們在公路上發現一具兒童尸體。為了報警，兩人驅車駛入蓋特林鎮，卻發現鎮上的情況更為詭異蹊蹺：這里似乎是兒童的王國，所有成人均不見蹤影。孩子們全都聽命于一個名叫艾塞克（John Franklin 約翰?法蘭克林 飾）、自稱上帝使者的小男孩。　　鎮上的大人究竟哪里去了？孩子們充滿惡意的眼神背后究竟隱藏著什么秘密？波頓和維姬最終能否活著走出小鎮？　　本片榮獲1984年布魯塞爾國際奇幻電影節最佳奇幻電影獎。
